Welcome to the Athlone Travel WIKI

Victoria, BC, Canada : Welcome to our online Wiki where all of us at Athlone Travel provide you with insights on destinations, our favourite holidays and interests and anything we feel may be of use to you on your travels.

To get started, why not enter a search term in the box on the left and click on the [Find] button, which will search all our personal wiki pages and give you as much information you are looking for as we can.  If you can't find what you are looking for, please email Elizabeth (liz@athlonetravel.com) and she will try and update our wiki pages with the information you are after.

The material on the Wiki is completely searchable. It is stored by Country/place or under headings like Cruising or Trains. We try NOT to duplicate material already on the Internet. This is a place where our agents can show how personal is their experience. You need help from an agent who has BEEN to your destination; stayed in your hotel; been to the show you want to see.

As well as the general WIKI, each agent has their own page (and sub-pages) where they can provide special information that THEY feel might help you. This will include hotlinks to useful websites that THEY recommend you use. They might also have a special sub-page for groups or companies whose travel they manage. Here they provide vending machine information for use by just that group. So ask your agent (or search the WIKI) to see if your company, team, school or organization has a WIKI page.

Occasionally YOU might want to contribute some personal knowledge to the WIKI. If so, write your page(s) in WORD and email your document to your agent or Elizabeth (liz@athlonetravel.com). We will put your information on the WIKI and give you credit for the travel knowledge burst.
